The Student Engagement and Development team at the Sauder Undergraduate Office is looking for two talented and passionate individuals to join the team to plan Orientations 2025!
We are hiring for:
Spark Orientation Coordinator
Orientation Leader Coordinator
These roles are paid student staff positions.
Part-time (5-10hrs/week) during Term 2, and Full-time during the Summer (Co-op eligible)
what is sauder orientations?
Orientations (Imagine UBC & The Spark) are a new student’s celebration, welcome, and orientation to UBC and Sauder. It’s an experience that inspires, engages, and excites our new students; preparing them for success in their transition to Sauder by building friendships with other students. We are looking for 2 driven individuals to join our team in taking on this challenge and creating an amazing welcome experience for new students.
The goal of orientations is to allow every student to feel like they belong here at UBC Sauder.

Orientation Leader Coordinator
Spark Orientation Coordinator
Imagine UBC is a campus-wide celebration of the school year to come and serves to inspire students to consider the possibilities that are available to them at Sauder. This role will have the ability to shape how over 1,000 new-to-Sauder students are welcomed to UBC and to Sauder. This is an opportunity to gain valuable project management experience, as you develop programs that help students build connections, feel supported in their new environment, and prepare for their educational journey.
The Spark vision is for every student to feel a sense of belonging at the UBC Sauder community. The Spark is a new student’s celebration, welcome and orientation to Sauder.
